WHY CHLORINATE / DISEINFECT YOUR WATER?

 

Chlorination/ Disinfections are carried out as

part of a buildings commissioning process

If bacterial water samples that that have been taken

from a water source show pathogens such as;

Legionella a disinfection will then be undertaken 

to remove the contamination within the water system.

 

When a system has been altered,

repaired, renewed or refurbished

​

When a Private water supply is installed,

it is subject to strict commissioning

and chlorination procedures, guidance is set out

by the Local Water Authority following BS8558,

these procedures must be followed before they can

be passed and the new mains pipework

is connected to the existing mains water services.
